Birthday gift to myself
Had a cuba libre by the pool just now, and thought that it was worthy of its very own post. Not as good as Barometer, but worth it for nostalgia's sake.

I like filling out forms at 4:03 am. I just graduated from the University of Michigan (in April 2008) and I'm spending the next year studying Arabic at the American University in Cairo. Hayate, I tried calling you at the hotel when I woke up this AM, 12:30 your time, spoke with the hotel desk people, got disconnected THREE TIMES....Called a fourth time, they checked your line, said there was phone trouble...Sorry I didn't get to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY when I called. Love you...
